Work with me

Private coaching, for your actual love life.

Always confidential, judgment-free, and no-nonsense.

A lot of people who call themselves coaches are closer to consultants: they’ll tell you exactly what to do without fully understanding you or your situation. I’ll never tell you what to do, because I’m not an expert on your life. You already hold an incredible amount of wisdom.

“Each of you is perfect the way you are … and you can use a little improvement.”— Shunryu Suzuki (not a past client)

My job is to lovingly hold your feet to the fire as we explore what you want to work on, where you want to go, and how you’re going to get there. To create a safe space where you can get real about what’s holding you back. To help build awareness, responsibility, and action, so lasting change happens. And I’ll be in your corner for the hard conversations, the vulnerable asks, the moments where you used to shrink and now you don’t.

We work with desires, needs, and boundaries, and then the language to communicate them: how to get your needs met, what happens when someone says no, what to do when a boundary gets crossed, and how to have the challenging conversations. If what you’re doing isn’t working anymore (or never really did), it’s time to try something new.

In case we haven’t met, I host The Love Drive, a weekly podcast about sex, love, and relationships. About 600,000 of you follow along across the show and social media. On paper, I hold a degree in Communication Theory from the University of California, am a California state-certified rape crisis counselor, a Concordia University-certified personal coach, and have been doing this work for over 12 years. Off paper: Tech sales, taxi driver, erotic masseur, hostel owner, and most recently, love coach.  Life is the ultimate teacher, and I’ve lived a full one so far. There are two ways to work with me.

The real work · three months, then month to month

Deep Dive Mentorship

$2,000 / month

This is for you if you're done reading about it and ready to change how you love, communicate, and connect. We work together closely over time, because becoming a more intentional and connected partner is a practice, not a one-time fix.

Who it's for: you're navigating intimacy and the early stages of a relationship, rebuilding trust, making changes to an existing relationship, breaking a pattern you keep repeating, or getting ready to recognize the right person when they finally show up.

You want me in your corner as your sounding board and advisor as you navigate some of the trickiest and most emotionally demanding situations in your life.

What's included:

  • Two 60-minute coaching calls a month
  • Voice memos and text between calls, for ongoing, real-time support with your current goals. I reply within a day on weekdays.
  • Language, tools, and honest feedback built for your exact situation
  • Steady accountability as you practice new ways of showing up

Three-month minimum because this work requires showing up consistently over time. Nothing changes overnight, baby, and you know it.

After that, it's month to month, for as long as it's useful to you. I only work with 5 clients at a time to make sure everyone gets the support they need.

If you start here and decide to go deeper, your $350 comes off your first month of Deep Dive Mentorship.

What clients say

"After a two-year hiatus from dating, I realized I was a bit out of touch and feeling confused upon starting that chapter of my life again. I'm walking away with more confidence to show up as my authentic self, and the trust that it's necessary and valid for me to communicate, ask questions, and express my needs while dating and beyond."— Danielle
"I have the courage to TALK now. I'm willing to take the risk and share how I'm feeling and how I see things. To communicate my value and my purpose."— Diana
"Working with Shaun feels like the comfiest blanket is cocooning me. He somehow makes the scary topic of setting boundaries and making requests feel accessible and simple."— Jillian
"I grew into my heart and began cultivating a richer understanding of the love that I am intrinsically worthy of receiving. I leaned into those unmet parts of my soul and learned to show up for myself in a way I'd never been able to. Shaun welcomed me at the start of each session with a full, warm laugh before he handed me the tools to do my work and I will forever be grateful for what we built together."— Anne Jolin Rissling, former client and lovebird
"It's okay to ask for help outside of therapy. My therapist isn't the end all be all of my healing. I need different things from different people. Finding Shaun taught me to trust my intuition when it comes to identifying people who have the capacity to help me live my best life."— A client who wishes to stay anonymous

Coaching is not therapy

I'm a coach, not a therapist. If you're working through trauma, addiction, or a mental health crisis, therapy comes first, and I'll be the first to say so. Coaching works best when you're fundamentally okay and ready to get better at love. Plenty of my clients do both at once. Different tools, different jobs.
